I have user profiles working on one site and am trying to get them to work on another.
I have checked carefully and the new site is Enterprise 25, it has the profile system activated and it has the yes options selected for viewing and for editing profiles.
However, when users log in, there is no icon for them to use to access the profile to create one.
Not sure what I'm missing. Can anyone direct me please? I must be missing something.

Okay .. I'm laughing at myself. It was turned on for everyone except the super-admin.
It's on now .. works fine .. no worries .. move along, nothing to see here!

I am feeling really stupid. I've created a new forum and have done my remote authentication but for some reason my users cannot create a user profile.
I checked my user control panel account settings for the chat and I have the user profile system turned on.
What is the name of the permission that will allow users to create/edit a user profile? I have been looking for so long, I am probably looking right at it and can't see it.
Thanks,

By the way, I checked the documentation for the parameters and there is nothing there that specifically mentions the user profile system (that I could tell).
I know I've discussed this before but I cannot for the life of me remember the parameter. Should I open a support ticket?
Thanks!

Hey Moruta, if I were you I WOULD submit a support ticket. You will get help faster ... Hmmm I forgot it was weekend now .. but still... In the meantime I'll look up about the user's profiles. If I don't come back with the info it means I did not know and could not help.

I am back with the info I found... Can not attach - too big file, but how to find User profile system:
Control Panel... Users tab... Profile System .
If you can't find I would be glad to send a screen capture to your e-mail.

Yes, I was in there and it is turned on. There is a view user profile tab when you right click on a user name but there is no button to allow a user to create a user profile. I ran into this once before and it was one of the permissions but I can't find any documentation on the site that specifies which permission it is. the documentation is out of date.
Thanks for the assist attempt. I do appreciate it. I will submit a ticket.

"...there is no button to allow a user to create a user profile..." Ohhhh... I guess I didn't go all the way to the bottom of it.... Sorry.
