One of my chatters uses aol browser as his browser and when he tried to load the beta chat he got the following message.... "http proxy not available."
Any ideas?

We'll probably need a bit more information here; there is really no reason it shouldn't work provided the browser is Java compatible, but I admit that we don't do any internal testing with AOL browsers ;)
Which version of the browser, I'm assuming AOL Explorer, but I'm no AOL expert. Did this message appear when he tried to load it, or when he tried to log-in? Is it a pop-up, displayed in page, ...? Did it prevent the chat room from loading?
Normally, I would suggest trying another modern browser just to make sure the issue is specific to that AOL browser; and after that we would test the browser ourselves to determine the problem. However- If the browser is fairly old or is no longer supported, I would suggest instead to simply switch altogether to another browser. Chrome, Safari and Firefox are my favorites right now- though I would not install a newer version of Firefox on an older system as it's become a bit memory hungry.
